Ben sings on loads, but he only likes British buses. He's provided Vocals or Piano on the following tracks:
london: She Answers, Scream
bristol: Glitch In The Machine, Tranquility
When you think rocky vox, you think Ben Fernihough. If there's a way that his soaring alto can hold and tease it's way through a new riff in an inventive way, it will certainly find that way very quickly. His grasp of originality in melody helps keep your ears interested, whilst females fight to keep their eyes off him; as a performer, he's got what it takes for sure, combining the best elements of melodic rock with a twist of lyrical poignancy and realism.
Like the rest of Race The Bus, Ben is at his best when improvising and juggling new ideas.
Ben's currently planning a second solo album, whilst fostering a stacked schedule for his live activities with the bands Full Circle, The Orange Show and Some Other Band.
Hailing from Llandeilo, South Wales, Ben Fernihough's initial creative wanderings took him from Chapter II to The Orange Underground, two regionally successful bands he formed with his surfing mates; he continues to take part in recording projects and even the odd live set with some of the old line-up with Taller.

He joined Bud in Bristol for a while and helped record Eight Feet Deep, but finally Ben broke away to perform solo and, finding he was free to work on other projects, he used his time wisely - working with a variety of musical styles, producers and musicians. He released his debut solo album, I can't Remember What It's Called, in 2001.
